DRUGS, BEATINGS MUST BE STOPPED

About the problem of drugs in schools: The problem in high schools and some
middle schools is more serious than people realize. School officials should
have police dogs sniffing the lockers, people and their backpacks as they
enter. So what about their privacy?

Security must be improved to keep the drug dealers off campus. There have
been cases where innocent students have been beaten up by these thugs.
Parents want to know their kids are learning in a safe place. Parents
should be up in arms about this and demand action. Teens on drugs or
carrying drugs should be expelled -- no questions asked -- and criminally
charged. We have the right to safety and security. Allowing drugs into
schools is a violation of that right.
