MARIJUANA AS MONEY-MAKER

I'm writing about Kathleen Parker's outstanding column: "There's gold
in that weed" (7-08-07).

If marijuana were re-legalized, our government could collect billions
of dollars in taxes instead of throwing billions of dollars down the
drain in our futile attempt to nullify the law of supply and demand.

It seems to me that non-marijuana users would be in favor or taxing
marijuana. Around these parts, taxing someone else's vice is very popular.
