PARENTS, BE CAREFUL OF THE MESSAGE YOU SEND
There should be no question to anyone why we have children with drug
problems. School children are arrested for selling or buying
marijuana, heroin, cocaine, and prescription drugs. I am appalled that
people who call themselves parents side with the people committing
these crimes and try to turn this into a racial thing and call Jesse
Jackson. They should be trying to get their children into a drug rehab
center.
By taking the side of the people committing these crimes, what they
are saying to their children is, "It's fine to break the law. Laws
pertain to other people. If you ever get caught, it's got to be
someone else's fault."
These same parents will probably wonder years later why their children
are sitting in prison.
