DRUGS: LEGALIZATION REDUCES HARM

Dear Editor,

You suggest just two options to dealing with drugs [Extreme need, Feb.
24 Comment, Langley Advance News], the American way of all-out war on
drugs, and the European way that involves treating users medically.

But there is a third option: legalize all drugs and allow users once
again to purchase clean, cheap, quality tested drugs at the corner
store. In my book, this is by far the best way to reduce the harm of
illegal drugs.
