RIPPERS GET IT WRONG

A Fleetwood family was terrorized Friday morning by two men with machetes
who had the wrong address for a marijuana grow operation.

Police say the pair broke into a house located in the 15100 block of 84
Ave. about 2 a.m. and tied up the occupants - a couple and their son -
demanding to know where their marijuana was.

After searching the house without finding any pot, the crooks fled with
several items of value.

Police say the three victims were traumatized, but not injured.

The first suspect is described as a 6' Caucasian man with blond hair and a
short, buzzcut hairstyle, clean shaven, blue eyes, mid-20s, with an average
build and a thin face. He was wearing black clothing, and carrying a
machete approximately two feet in length. The second suspect is also
Caucasian, 5'6" with brown hair in a short, buzzcut hairstyle, sideburns
and a small goatee on his chin, about 20 years old, thin with a skinny face
and high protruding cheek bones, wearing black clothing and carrying a
machete approximately one foot in length.
