POLICE DOING THEIR BEST IN DRUG WARS

Sherwood Park News - You ask, Where are all the police in this, Ms.
Megley?

You know little of which you speak. The police, both RCMP and city
police, are doing everything within their power to find culprits
responsible for making, supplying and selling drugs.

You don't realize that the people responsible for the distribution of
the drugs on the street could be your relative, neighbour or the
teenager dragging his/her backpack to school. Most of us wouldn't have
any idea.

Have you ever wondered who lives in the big fancy $280,000 home just
down the street from you? It's quite possible it's being used as a
crystal meth lab.

Did you know that what goes into making crystal meth can be purchased
in stores anywhere, that includes Sherwood Park? Should we have a law
forbidding these items to be sold?

I, for one, would be interested to know how you, Ms. Megley, would
"keep these producers and dealers away from communities and out of
reach of teenagers."

I wouldn't know what a producer or dealer looks like, but I do know
what a user looks like. I know a little of which I speak. Give our
police force some credit for what they do, you may need them one day.
