ATTACK THE PROBLEM
A great "thank you" to the brave councillors who voted to end this
ludicrous program.
Finally some common sense coming from a level of government in spite
of the popular, politically correct and left-wing pressures of those
who only want to pursue the folly of enabling sick behaviour in
individuals instead of supporting programs such as Teen Challenge and
others that have high success rates at helping drug addicts.
Go for the root problem instead of medicating the sickness and
wasting taxpayers' money on helping people to supposedly remain in
their addictions safely. Why not take time and money instead to help
them work toward better quality of life instead of a stupored state
of existence? There are no safe addictions -- they affect all of us.
