DOPE KING'S COURT DATE
A BUSINESSMAN who made a fortune as the cannabis king of South London
was due to be sentenced today (Mar 30).
Errol Anderson, 47, was due before the Old Bailey this morning to be
sentenced after he was found guilty of permitting his Green Leaf Cafe
in Landor Road, Stockwell, to be used to supply cannabis.
Anderson, who was never seen in public without an ornate walking stick
and Stetson hat, had posed as a chef selling Jamaican food. But he
also offered a choice of top-quality cannabis in the back room of the
Green Leaf that brought him hundreds of thousands of pounds.
His wife, Audrianna Witter, 49, helped him invest the profits into a
property empire worth more than UKP1million. She was also due to be
sentenced today.
Anderson, of Ribblesdale Road, Streatham, was found guilty of 10
counts of concealing or transferring the proceeds of drug trafficking,
three counts of possessing a class-B drug with intent, and one count
of permitting premises to be used for the supply of a class-B drug.
Witter, also of Ribblesdale Road, Streatham, was found guilty of seven
counts of concealing or transferring the proceeds of drug trafficking.
