CHOICE WORDS

Re: "Wrong choice" (April 19 letter). Writer Doreen Burke spent an entire
letter praising the virtue of making the "right choice" (her choice), but
at the same time berates marijuana advocate Marc Emery for providing
another choice.

What she really wants is for her choice to be the only choice. And that
would be no choice at all.

The ad hominem reference to Mr. Emery as a corporate entity, as if his is
the only one that exists, is also arguable when you consider the corporate
prison/industrial war package being sold by schools today that are so
Orwellian, a sizable fraction of students can't swallow it without chasers
of Ritalin.

Methinks I smell some hypocrisy here.
