ON THE WRONG PATH

Ottawa's crack-pipe program should have been cancelled. It should
never have been started in the first place. Safe crack pipes and
clean needles keep these addicts around for what? So they can shoot
up again tomorrow. I have trouble identifying a winner in this
numbingly repetitive cycle. These people willingly removed themselves
from useful society and knowingly embarked upon a life-shortening
path. We should do nothing to impede their journey.
