CLEAR MIND

Dear Harlan:

I wanted to add something to your advice to Not Doing Drugs.
Please encourage his parents to drug-test him. Several types of drug-test
kits can be purchased at the pharmacy, ranging from those testing for just
marijuana to tests for methamphetamines, cocaine, barbiturates and
hallucinogenics. I was always buying these kits at various intervals when
my kids were in school.

I am sure the pharmacist thought I ran a halfway house for drug
addicts.

If the parents still are not satisfied, they can take a blood sample,
urine specimen or hair samples for testing at a laboratory.

Dear Clear Mind:

Should it come down to this, Not Doing Drugs can pick up
an At Home Drug Test at most drugstores and grocery stores (usually under
$30).

If the parents still aren't satisfied, they can take fluids and hair
to the lab. And if they're still not satisfied, "Not Doing Drugs"
should take his parents to the lab, because something is wrong with
them.
