PROHIBITIONIST PROPAGANDA?
Editor, The Star:
Re: "Rush, high and crash, the Meth nightmare," Apr. 22, don't you have
anything better to do than to print this simple-minded prohibitionist
propaganda? Just because some people can't handle crystal meth, doesn't
mean the rest of us can't either. I suppose you think we should ban alcohol
because users become alcoholics.
The best way to reduce the harm and heartbreak of illegal drugs is to
legalize all drugs and allow users to purchase clean, cheap,
quality-tested drugs at the corner store. But the experts are having
too much fun scaring us all to champion an initiative that will save
lives.
