The book, "Marijuana Myths, Marijuana Facts," that was distributed at the
recent Town Hall on Marijuana and Youth was not endorsed or approved by the
Wasco County Prevention Coalition, the Planetree Health Resource Center or
the Wasco County Commission on Children and Families.

In fact the book was distributed without our permission at this event.

WE will be revising our Town Hall policies to prevent future incidents of
thsi nature.

We regret the unfortunate occurance at a program focused at youth and
marijuana, but it does underscore the controversial nature of this substance.

For a packet of information that was reviewed and approved by the Coalition
and given to Towm Hall participants, please contact the Wasco County
Prevention Coalition at 506-2673.
