A FALSE SMOKE ALARM

With study after study showing the value of medicinal marijuana, and
countries such as Canada and Great Britain considering the
legalization of marijuana, the latest version of "reefer madness"
appears in the guise of "super pot" ("Stronger pot propels addiction
rate higher," Page One, May 5).

It is doubtful teenagers are big consumers of it. The article should
have included a disclaimer: "This message paid for by the Office of
National Drug Control Policy."
