PENALTIES SHOULD BE TOUGHER ON DRUGS
Re: "Police see surge in crystal meth use," April 26.
It puzzles me why as reported in the same edition, David Anderson
wants stiffer penalties for dumping oil at sea. It is the Liberal
party and the David Andersons who have put in place the mild penalties
that allow the problems of our cities and youth to go unpunished.
The drug problems in Victoria could be reduced if the people who
openly sell drugs on the corners in broad daylight had some fear of
being caught -- but not with the Liberals at the helm.
