WASTEFUL DRUG PROGRAM

With regard to the pending expenditure of funds for the drug program
in the Bristol Virginia public schools; the state and the federal
government have already spent countless millions of dollars on drug
control and information. The laws are in place; the mechanisms for
dealing with offenders are in place. State and federal drug laws are
applicable to the public schools.

Stop treating students as if they are stupid; they are not.

In one or two sessions, students can be informed of all drug laws,
what drugs can do to harm them and what the consequences will be if
they choose to be involved with drugs.
