WHY WOULD I VOTE FOR ENEMIES OF LIBERTY?
I am a 24-year-old university student living in the riding of Edmonton
Strathcona. Like most people my age, I will not be voting. In fact, I won't
even consider doing so. Why? Because there is no party that consistently
supports freedom.
The Conservatives support freedom except when it comes to international war
and illegal drugs: witness their support of the Iraq war and their
opposition to marijuana legalization. Then there's the NDP. Though sharp
when it comes to controversial issues like drugs and war, the party
supports more government control on every single other issue. And the
Liberals -- they're crooks no matter how you slice it.
When federal politicians start supporting liberty, I'll start supporting them.
