PDEA SEIZES P2-M DOPE
Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested two women in
a buy-bust operation Thursday inside a Quezon City hotel that resulted
in the seizure of one kilo of shabu worth P2 million.
Death awaits suspects Sara Datu Sacaludan alias Lupe, 40, and Sitte
Datu Haron alias Lea Sacaludan, a 22-year-old student, once they are
proven guilty of drug trafficking. Both are residents of the Muslim
Compound in Barangay Culiat, Quezon City.
PDEA chair Undersecretary Anselmo S. Avenido Jr. said the two were
nabbed in a sting conducted by elements of the PDEA Intelligence and
Investigation Service led by Chief Insp. Dionisio B. Bartolome at
10:30 p.m. inside the Sogo Hotel located along Aurora Boulevard.
Avenido said the two conspired to sell the drugs to an undercover
officer following several days of transaction with the poseur.
He said he has ordered a manhunt for the supplier of the drugs
recovered from the suspects who are now being held at the PDEA jail.
