RIDICULOUS BORDER RULING
In response to Judge Ellen Gordon's ruling that border guards need a
search warrant to examine a vehicle, I thought the very act of
crossing the border meant you were giving consent to have your vehicle
searched and that no warrant was necessary.
The border guard was obviously right in this case. They are trained to
pickup on tell-tale signs -- and we are not talking about smuggling a
pair of shoes here.
This is a ridiculous ruling. Our border guards need more power, not
less.
