FELGER PLANS TO SHUT DOWN INTERSECTION TODAY

The Marijuana Party plans to shut down the intersection at Sumas Way
and Marshall Road later today.

Party representatives will walk onto the road at 4:20 p.m. and stop
all traffic for four minutes and 20 seconds.

Tim Felger, the Abbotsford riding's federal election candidate for the
Marijuana Party, says the shut-down is a tribute to victims of the war
on drugs.

"We are asking that if you cannot respect our tribute to the fallen
then please avoid the intersection," Felger said. "We don't want horns
- - just plain silent respect for our fallen brothers and sisters."

The tribute is part of a Marijuana Party rally that will run from 2
p.m. to 4:30 p.m. outside the campaign office of Randy White at 2020
Sumas Way. White will stand stand against Felger for the Conservative
Party on June 28.

Marijuana Party members will light-up their joints during the rally -
at and according to Felger, they will ask White to join them outside
to smoke their peacepipe.

The 4:20 p.m. relevance, according to Felger, is the time when most
marijuana-users light-up their first joint - 20 minutes after work.
