PAMPHLETS FOR PRISONERS
MARIJUANA party officials went to jail Wednesday, but they were just visiting.
Candidate Jay Dell and Hugo St-Onge, the party's chief agent, showed up at
the Bordeaux correctional institution in Montreal and received assurances
that their party flyers would be distributed to the 1,200 inmates.
A 2002 Supreme Court of Canada decision gave prisoners the right to vote.
