SHAMEFUL POT RAID
I am responding to the front-page photo about government agents
attacking the voters and citizens of the state of California
("Federal crackdown: Inland marijuana dispensary shut down," July
18). The conservative regime has sent federal agents to terrorize
law-abiding Americans.
It is also attacking the entire state of California, its citizens and
the very fabric of our society.
I am a patriot. I served my country. I am a Marine, my father was a
Marine and my 18-year-old son wants to be a Marine.
I demand that the entire government of the United States of America
be thrown out. This raid in Corona is an unconscionable act and
demonstrates the bankruptcy of our system of government. We are not
subjects of some foreign, conservative power. We are free men and
women, and this is an act of war.
I call on the governor to defend us Californians. Our forefathers did
not provide for activities such as these. This country has sold its
soul. I am ashamed to be an American today.
