DON'T SINGLE OUT GROW-OP LANDLORDS
Re: Council refuses to reconsider penalty against man whose tenants grew
pot, June 9
If landlords are responsible for investigating and cleaning up
grow-operations on their property, I would think they should be
responsible for the cost of all crimes over $5,000 committed on their
property. Examples include: murder in a rental house or in a hotel,
stock fraud in a highrise office building and tainted food products in
a store. Landlords should not be responsible for tenants' crimes.
