Editorial - I'm writing about your thoughtful editorial, Pot laws are
the crime, July 16.
Canada may or may not be the leader in pot use. As the penalties for
pot use increase, the tendency to be honest with interviewers
conducting so-called anonymous surveys decrease.
Penalties for pot use and possession are substantially harsher in the
former "Land of the Free" than they are in Canada. All sorts of things
can happen to Americans who admit to pot use - and none of them are
good.
