ALBERTA, B.C. PHARMACIES TO RESTRICT COLD-DRUG SALES
Edmonton -- Alberta and British Columbia pharmacies will voluntarily
restrict the sale of cold remedies also used to make crystal methamphetamine.
The change will mean products such as Sudafed will be available only from
behind the counter.
An aide to a B.C. cabinet minister was arrested last week in Victoria and
charged with trafficking in crystal meth.
