A GROWING CONCERN
With the growing season in full swing, the Hamilton Police Drug Unit
is asking citizens in rural areas to watch for suspicious activity
around properties.
Police, concerned about marijuana growing on rural sites, are asking
residents to watch for: Unknown vehicles parked on the side of the
road for short periods; foot paths not normally present; open areas
(allowing maximum sunlight) surrounded by large trees (to provide
optimum cover); chicken wire, bamboo and other items off to the sides
of pathways and trails.
Police already removed several hundred plants from a Hwy. 5 property
recently.
For suspicious plants, vehicles and cutting information, call
905-546-3885.
