HELP IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Re: Article belittled neighbours' concerns about clinic, JULY 9.
Supposing there are any addicts or, for that matter, alcoholics living
in the residences above or adjacent to the methadone clinic on
Somerset Street (given the wide and varied demographic of addiction in
general, that possibility seems reasonable), perhaps they should just
give up and agree with their critics. On a more positive note, if
those people have a strong desire to deal with their addiction and the
social and psychological problems that often accompany it, they need
only take a short elevator ride to the ground floor, where help will
unjudgingly and compassionately be offered.
