DAGGA GROWING IN CHOMA HAS INCREASED - DEC

Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) in Choma says production of dagga in
the district has increased.

DEC officer-in-charge Lizzy Mwango said areas like Masuku and Mapanza
in Choma are producing high quantities of dagga. Mwango was speaking
at the ongoing Southern Province Agricultural and Commercial Show.

She said Mwapona and Zambia shanty townships have recorded an increase
in the number of people peddling in dagga.

Mwango said DEC would not relent in its efforts to rid society of
dangerous drugs.
