LEAVE MY CIVIL RIGHTS ALONE

Unfortunately, grow-ops are here to stay. Tougher laws haven't prevented
them in the U.S., and putting landlords on the hook will only force growers
to become more creative. Let's face it, the police only catch growers if
they stumble on to them, or if the growers make it so obvious the
neighbours complain. In the grow-op industry, the criminals are always two
steps ahead of the police.

If the grow-op industry collapsed in B.C., the economy would take a nosedive.

Grow-ops are here to stay unless we're willing to live in a country without
civil rights. Quite frankly, I would rather risk a grow-op in my
neighbourhood than have more of my civil rights taken away by a meddlesome
government.
