GIRL BUSTED FOR STUFFING POT DOWN SHIRT

On July 6 an off-duty RCMP member spotted a group of youths
congregated in front of Panago Pizza on Canyon Street. A call to the
local detachment brought out a patrol car and a young female was seen
stuffing objects inside her shirt.

A search following her arrest revealed 74 grams of marijuana in 11
plastic bags. In pre-metric times the bags would have been de-scribed
as weighing a quarter-ounce each. Charges against the 15-year-old are
expected to include possession of cannabis for the purpose of
trafficking.
