3 ALLEGED ILLEGAL DRUG PEDDLERS HELD
OPERATIVES of the police Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force
(AIDSOT) arrested two Chinese nationals and one Filipino for allegedly
peddling illegal drugs.
The suspects were identified as Yan Quang Wang alias Johnny Ong and Zhi Gen
Wang alias Jorge Ong from Fujuian China and Roy Ramos Jalucon of Quezon City.
AIDSOT head Chief Superintendent Edgar Aglipay presented the three to media
men on Tuesday.
Two kilos of metamphetamine hydrochloride or "shabu" worth five million
pesos were seized from the suspects, Aglipay said.
The two Chinese nationals allegedly tried to bribe police with 300,000
pesos for their release, but were refused, he added.
The three will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Dangerous
Drugs Act, Aglipay said.
