QUESTION USE OF SEIZED CARS

Thank you for Sunny Schubert's Sunday column on the seized Escalade,
one that hopefully will be the subject of a lot of discussion in the
future, as our police are not acting in the interests of the
overpaying taxpayers.

Just last week the local TV showed Columbia County detectives cutting
down ditch weed (marijuana). I question why our highly paid detectives
are mowing weeds, while Huber inmates would be a minimal expense. It
seems that drugs are the highest priority here in Columbia County.

I do intend to make an appearance in front of the Columbia County
Board to make them aware of these seizures and the funds diverted from
school use.
