LET'S END THIS INSANE DRUG WAR

Scott Rowland says the pseudoephedrine ban has saved at least one
person from being exposed to a meth lab. Rowland has it wrong, drug
prohibition is responsible for creation of all meth labs. As Howard
Wooldridge, a police officer recognized by MADD for his efforts to
halt drunk driving, explains to us "Meth labs are this generation's
bathtub gin."

Truckers and athletes regularly took amphetamines up until the 1960s,
when those substances began to be restricted. This led to a rampant
black market and the development of stronger, cheaper versions of the
same drug.

Meth labs in homes where children are put at risk are the direct
result of drug prohibition. Instead of maybe helping just one person,
as Rowland claims, let's help everyone by lowering taxes, reducing
crime and making it easier for addicts to get help by ending this
insane war on drugs.
