DRUG ADDICTION A PRIVATE STORY
Editor:
Addiction to drugs is a terrible thing for anyone to face - but
imagine if everyone knew it was happening to you.
That's the predicament faced by much beleaguered legislative
paper-pusher Marshall Smith.
The unfortunate thing is that had Mr. Smith worked for the private
sector, his name would not be in the news as it is today.
In the same fashion, I don't believe Mr. Smith's actions reflect upon
the B.C. government in any way, shape or form.
If an individual at my office had an addiction problem, it would in no
way reflect poorly upon me. Likewise this is an individual case, with
an individual problem, but it is in no way reflective upon his
colleagues at the legislature, or any elected officials.
