DRUG DEAL BY CITY HURTS ALL
In reference to the article titled, "Drug Dealers Get Second Chance"
on May 19: "Just say no."
I would like to express disappointment as well as outrage in regard to
our city, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies turning
their backs on the citizens of not just High Point, but the nation, by
pleading their case to "drug dealers" instead of a jury.
My interpretation of this article is that we are using the slogan
"Just say no to prosecution of drug dealers"! These punks have sold
the devils death and destruction for profit only to live the high
life. Now, we are supposed to accept that a portion of our tax dollars
will go toward housing and feeding these morally corrupt felons?
Along with free housing and food - these criminals will be able to
roam free and gloat that "the pigs just said no to prosecution." Lets
not strain the judicial process and there are all those technicalities
to further confuse the system. Not to mention their constitutional
rights.
What really eats at me is that these skumbags, to put it mildly, have
enslaved countless people with their selfish wicked ways. Why not
enslave them for a while and at least confine them for a lengthy
period at the state prison in Raleigh?
Many people have suffered because of drug dealers - not only the ones
addicted to the drugs, but also their families and friends. We lose
people who could be assets to society all because of the greed
creating liabilities in those addicted. This country is being raped by
the deals on both sides of the fence.
