DISAPPOINTMENT IN THE METH LAB RAID
Oh my God. A couple living together that are not wed? Let's nail them
to a cross.
I am very disappointed in the Summit County Sheriff's Office and the
drug Gestapo squad.
The only reason they are paying for damages is politically motivated.
As the July 28 story on the mistaken meth lab raid in Frisco reported,
"According to Undersheriff Derek Woodman of the Sheriff's Office, it's
not the task force's policy to replace items it breaks in a raid gone
awry."
Face it fellow Summit countians, the bogus raid could have occurred at
your house or mine. It could have been our son's home or our
daughter's as well. Anyone with a grudge against you can set you up
for this very, very humiliating experience.
We need to vote out Sheriff John Minor and Woodman needs to be fired
or resign as soon as possible.
The report in the Summit Daily stated, "The search yielded nothing,
but left in its path damage to doors, their frames, a mirror and other
items."
Was this really necessary? The people were already apprehended and in
handcuffs when the stormtroopers invaded this dwelling.
And the sad part is we pay these people's salary, and the taxes that
will be used to repair the mess these "Keystone Cops" created. Is a
lawsuit to follow? I know I would be seeking advice from a lawyer.
