VIZCAYA'S MOST WANTED DRUG PUSHER NABBED

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya - The Philippine National Police scored another
victory in its campaign against illegal drugs when its local operatives
apprehended one of the province's top-most drug pusher over the weekend in
a series of buy-bust operations.

Aside from Vladimir Yasay, 38, who police tagged as the top-most drug
pusher here, the buy-bust operations also led to the apprehension of one
Jayson Gallardo, 18, an alleged shabu peddler in the province.

SPO1 Benedicto Tupil of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Team
(CIDT) said that Yasay tried to elude authorities in Bambang town. He
sustained a minor gunshot wound in his back.

The two were locked up at the provincial jail here following their
apprehension by operatives from the CIDT, Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency and the provincial police last week.
