MANDATORY MINIMUMS DON'T MAKE LIFE SAFER

Any one who believes that mandatory minimum sentencing laws have made
life safer for the public must also believe in the tooth fairy. Look
at the major newspapers from Anyplace, USA. There have been murders,
rapes, robberies and the like.

I guess if they were able to convince Americans to go to war, then it
is no wonder that some believe that crime is down. If you truly
believe that crime is down, how about letting me take you on a tour? I
would like to show you what the real world is really like.
