FELGER'S CASE PUT OFF TO MARCH 2005

A local marijuana advocate will have to wait to get his day in court.

The grow-op-related trial of perennial election candidate and marijuana
advocate Tim Felger was scheduled to begin on Tuesday in B.C. Supreme Court
in Chilliwack, but has been put off until March 2005.

Felger and Edward Larson are both charged with production of a controlled
substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking. Felger is also
charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.

The charges stem from a January 2002 bust at Felger's Bradner Road property,
where police said they found almost 3,000 cannabis plants.
