COMMENTS INSENSITIVE TO THOSE WHO SUFFERED

Editor, The Record:

I just needed to comment on Mr. Randell's letter that was in the paper
last Thursday. Mr. Randall may believe that people should have the
right to do what they want with their own bodies (regarding substance
abuse).

I think that it is small-minded however, to compare what he calls
prohibition to the atrocities that the Jewish people suffered under
Hitler or the incarceration of people of Japanese descent during the
war.

What a ridiculous comparison! I think that anyone who suffered through
these despicable events would be offended.
