POT CAN LEAD TO MENTAL ILLNESS
I totally agree with the Lancet report that states that those smoking
marijuana are 41-per-cent more likely to experience psychotic
illnesses such as schizophrenia and delusions.
When my son was a teen, he got into the wrong crowd and started
smoking marijuana.
He ended up in the psychiatric ward three times with psychosis,
including delusions and hallucinations. He was labelled bipolar.
Luckily, he learned some tough lessons and stopped smoking entirely.
He is now 26 and studying hard to become a lawyer.
I hope pot never becomes legal, because that would give young people
the message that it is OK to smoke it.
It may not affect some, but for others it can lead to psychosis.
