LOTS OF TRIGGERS
Prior to the mid-1960s marijuana use was almost unheard-of and the
rate of schizophrenia was one per cent. After that, use increased
almost as exponentially as Ms. Kopala imagines THC content increased
in the last 10 years (perhaps they were smoking hemp then) -- and the
rate of schizophrenia now ... is one per cent.
Marathon encounter groups, yoga and meditation also "trigger"
psychosis, a word incidentally that means "mental disease of unknown
origin" -- not unlike "cuckoo" or "loco" in its explanatory power.
Long live reefer madness!
