Selling drugs is against the law, so why doesn't the government stop wasting
time and tax dollars funding safe houses, and spend some of that money on
more police and having the punishments for dealers be more than just a slap
on the wrist?

Where do these addicts get the money for the drugs they are addicted to?
Many rob or steal for it -- also criminal acts.

More money should be spent on education in schools to prevent drug use. How
does opening safe houses for various drugs make sense?

We teach our children to "just say no" to drugs, and then we do this. What
will be next? A safe house for child molesters and rapists?

In my opinion, we need to make major adjustments to our legal system so
there are harsher penalties for drug dealers and people caught with illegal
drugs. Let's go to war on drugs and win!
