CRIME AND PUNISHMENT
Re Marijuana Activist Handed Three Months In Jail (Aug. 20):
Former MP Svend Robinson is given a conditional discharge for the
apparently premeditated theft of a $64,000 ring, a crime for which he
pleaded guilty.
Meanwhile, Marc Emery, president of the B.C. Marijuana Party, gets three
months in jail for pleading guilty to making a political point at a
political rally, by passing a joint to one of his supporters.
Aren't we teaching our kids something wonderful about power and justice?
