POLICE CONFIRM MAN'S DEATH HOMICIDE
York Regional Police has confirmed the suspicious death in Keswick
Wednesday was a homicide.
The body of a man in his early 40s, who police have yet to identify, was
found inside a Ley Boulevard home, which also housed a marijuana grow
operation, after neighbours called police Wednesday morning.
A post-mortem examination conducted Thursday revealed the cause of death
was a gunshot wound, confirming neighbours' accounts of hearing shots fired
around 2 a.m.
This is the 15th homicide in York Region this year.
