MORE ADVICE FROM U.S.
Editor, The NEWS:
The reason your town core is not safe, pleasant to walk in and an
embarrassment to your community is not due to drug use; the reason is
due to the prohibition of drugs, which even includes the plant cannabis.
If the original prohibition on a national scale were to have gone
unchecked when it was, it would have escalated to mind boggling
proportions. Now the sequel, on an international scale, unchecked for
2-4 times as long, has brought us a bigger Al Capone known as Osama
bin Laden. Murders, thefts, etc. all decreased for years after the end
of the original prohibition.
Government-subsidized drug warlords want you to think ending
prohibition will increase crime. History suggests otherwise.
