CAN WE TRUST THE POLICE?

The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police says these new powers of
invading privacy will not be used except in the case of a specific
investigation. How can we possibly trust them?

The police need to be able to stop "bad guys," but will they use these
tools to read the e-mail and tap the phone calls of anyone who shows
disagreement with the government or police?

If we allow police to do this, we may as well just waive our privacy
rights entirely.

Why not let the police just come into our house without a warrant,
take our blood and urine for testing with no probable cause and let
them detain us without charges?

Totally unrestricted access and control is really what they want
anyway, and this new demand just proves that.
