'REEFING' IT UP AT THE POST

I protest the on-going campaign by your editorial staff for the
legalization of marijuana (A Chronic Offender, editorial, Aug. 24). Do
we need another harmful drug legalized in our society? We do all in
our power to prohibit cigarette smoking because of its unhealthy side
effects and you want to promote a product that is even more deadly and
brain damaging.

Your support of Marc Emery, who for years has flouted the law in these
matters, is absurd. I can only conclude that your staff is "reefing"
it up in the office and have become as brain addled as Mr. Emery himself.
