MARIJUANA VS ALCOHOL
RE: R.A. Campbell-Ward's Aug. 30 letter about why marijuana is still
illegal. I don't think that people forgot why it is illegal but just
like everything else with the government, what they came up with is
not true. Alcohol, on the other hand, seems to have produced raving
maniacs who are liable to kill or indulge in violence. I would much
rather be in a room with people on pot than in a room with people who
are drunk. Remember, alcohol was illegal at one time as well.
