POLICE HAVE ENOUGH RESOURCES
We keep hearing Vancouver police Chief Jamie Graham complain about how
he needs more resources. Now it's his explanation for why the police
have not taken action against Da Kine. Does he really expect us to buy
this? How many resources are required to arrest a person selling
marijuana -- especially when that person is handed to you on a platter?
No undercover operations are necessary here, no buy and bust. This
would probably be one of the easiest arrests one could imagine, but
the police don't have the resources.
Yet, the same police force has the resources to investigate complaints
that patrons of a strip club are allowed to touch the strippers'
breasts -- no shortage of resources there!
So is it a lack of resources or a lack of direction?
